On February 15, 2011, I will be bringing forward to Education Committee a motion to ask staff to update the Board's procedure concerning exposure to cold weather, after consulting Ottawa Public Health and CHEO, to ensure that it reflects current guidance with respect to protecting students, and employees, from frostbite. It also asks staff to consider whether the procedure should be amended to take into consideration guidance with respect to heat exposure. Share your views. I want to know what you think.
